Strange Strips (2019)
This installation was presented at the Skippko Gallery in Leeds, UK.
While I was creating these pieces, I had the intention of connecting to my creative and non-judgmental inner child. Part of my creative process was intentionally stopping my thoughts from trying to find a deeper meaning to what I was doing, being deeply unserious about the results. I stopped when I got bored, indulged in all my ideas even if I found them ridiculous. The result was a discombobulated assortment of items and a strange short film that was shown within the space.
